Chriopractic Care
Prenatal + Postnatal Patients
Prenatal and postnatal chiropractic care in Chilliwack supports the physical changes of pregnancy and postpartum recovery by helping improve pelvic alignment, mobility, posture, and overall comfort. Gentle chiropractic care can help reduce common pregnancy-related discomforts, support balance as the body changes, and promote a smoother transition through pregnancy, birth, and recovery.
Reduced Low-Back, Pelvic, and Hip Pain
Pregnancy shifts posture, releases the hormone relaxin which loosens ligaments and increases strain on the spine and pelvis. Chiropractic manipulation helps to relieve the pain and discomfort by improving joint mobility and reducing tension on the system.
Improved Pelvic Alignment
Some techniques to help to maintain balanced pelvic alignment from side to side. This may reduce discomfort and create more space for the baby’s movement, which can ease pressure on the uterus and surrounding tissues before birth.
Better Mobility and Physical Comfort
Regular spinal and pelvic manipulation may help pregnant patients move more comfortably, especially during the later trimesters when weight distribution changes rapidly.
Support for Posture and Balance
As the center of gravity shifts, women develop compensatory posture, chiropractic manipulation and treatments reduce physical stress.
Labor Pain Management
Some patients report smoother labor experiences when pain and pelvic imbalance have been addressed throughout pregnancy, though scientific evidence in this area is still limited.
Drug-Free Pain Management
Chiropractic care is safe and a non-pharmacologic, natural way to manage common pregnancy-related discomforts and pain, helping to reduce reliance for pain medication.
Chiropractic Care
Pediatric Patients
Child and infant chiropractic care in Chilliwack supports healthy posture, movement, and joint development as your little ones grow, helping address the physical demands of play, early milestones, sports, screen time, and growth spurts in a gentle and family-centred way.
Support for Musculoskeletal Alignment and Mobility
Children develop quickly and can be affected by falls, sports, heavy backpacks, and rapid growth spurts which can lead to joint or muscle tension. Chiropractic care can help alleviate symptoms as they inevitably pop up.
Posture and Movement Patterns
As kids spend more time sitting, using devices, or playing sports, chiropractors can help with movement asymmetries, or restricted range of motion.
Encouraging healthy biomechanics early
Promote proper body mechanics and alignment during key developmental stages, especially when kids begin walking, playing sports, or going through growth spurts.
Non-pharmacologic support option
For families who prefer conservative, hands-on care for musculoskeletal issues, chiropractic offers a drug-free approach.
